Job Description:
NetZoom is seeking an accomplished Strategic Account Executive to lead sales/business development activities within the Reseller Channel and to Federal, State and Local government clients. The Strategic Account Executive is responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive business plan to achieve revenue targets for the Reseller Channel and Government Channel by selling NetZoom’s data center infrastructure management tools. Execution includes personally developing customer accounts, qualifying opportunities, driving account growth, assisting in closing sales opportunities and maintaining strong customer relationships.
Requirements:
- Develop and maintain strong customer relationships.
- Develop and manage the business development/sales pipeline to achieve corporate revenue objectives.
- Identify, qualify, shape, and win strategically relevant, long term business opportunities.
- Develop a deep understanding of customer challenges to deliver and win compelling, high-impact solutions.
- Build and execute account plans that drive sustainable business growth in key markets.
- Grow business partner relationships to drive business growth.
- Execute the sales forecasting process to ensure accuracy of business results.
- Support the preparation of quality bids, proposals, RFI, & market research responses.
- Ability to quickly learn and articulate technical products and solutions.
- Enter calls, activities and customer information into a CRM and update as needed to keep all stakeholders informed.
- Monitor competitor sales, product & marketing activities for situational awareness.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to navigate challenging technical conversations.
- Effective communications skills with C-level, financial, technical and user audiences.

Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in government sales experience and/or channel sales development.
- Experience in government contracting and acquisition mechanisms in all territories, including understanding of applicable procurement law and regulation.
- Experience establishing and managing sales channels and strategic partnerships.
- Experience building & maintaining sales presentations & reports in Microsoft Office
Desirable Experience:
- Understanding how to prospect, search and sell across reseller, defense, intelligence and commercial markets.
- Effectively addressing technical requests and communicating with technical teams.
Education:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
Candidate must be legally authorized to work in the US.
